Linda Gutherie, nicknamed YENNA by her grandchildren, learned to use a camera while working as a casting director for feature films and commercials on both coasts.
Photography became a casting tool as she developed an exceptionally sensitive “eye” while working with actors and celebrities.
Since 1991, Yenna has focused her talents on professional portraiture, demonstrating a special affinity for capturing unique qualities of her subjects, their true personality. Her distinctive images are set in familiar environments – the client’s home or an outdoor location, typically using natural light. Yenna is also available to capture the spirit and feeling of events and gatherings –weddings, reunions, corporate retreats, celebrations of all kinds are documented with care.
